Enjoy an old-fashioned
Hoe Down at the “O.K. Corral” located beside “Livery Stables”, and our covered pavilion. Set above a 20-acre lake, there are lots of animals to view and pet. We feature an outside stereo system with broadcasting capabilities, microphones, and country and western music or you can bring your own CDs. The pavilion is well light for nighttime activities with running water, a refrigerator, and always, an open campfire.
Each event will include the Dude/Dudette of the Hoe Down (the best-dressed cowboy and cowgirl – encourage your group to participate by dressing in a western manner. We provide two games,
pin the tail on the donkey (a real one) and the
horseshoe toss.
Additional old-fashioned games are available for larger and or more active groups… sunflower seed spittin’, sweet ‘tater rollin’, bb gun marksmanship, 30’ tug of war, sack races, stick pony races, horseless miniature wagon races,
real horse painting (with tempera
paints), and our “Great American” pig chases. Picnic facilities and grills are provided so you may cook your own meal or see our catering insert for menu possibilities.
