This program takes place next to one of our twenty-acre lakes and every guest has the opportunity to cast a rod and reel before leaving. Also, each will indulge in the culinary aspects (a taste test) as well as witnessing the cleaning process. |

1) Chicken chases - All delight as student's attempt to net a prize hen.
2) Plaster casting bird prints - Another great memento is a foot print
cast at the ranch. Each student shares responsibilities in the casting
process and the cast serves as a token and everlasting reminder at the
classroom.
3) Egg painting - The artist comes alive as each student paints his or
her own eggs. Parents love these "gifts"
4) Feather painting - More artistic value as feathers of different
styles feathers are used to create a special craft on construction
paper!

1) Building a bird feeder - large pinecones are covered with peanut
butter and then drenched in birdseed! They survive the ride home, neatly
placed in zip-lock bags. This is conservation at its finest!

This program encompasses the food chain, natural selection, and survival of the fittest. It ends in the live feeding of a reptile. Not for the faint or weary of heart… We are speaking to you adults because it is an all time favorite with the youth. Also, meet “Kitty” our rescued Siberian tiger. She recently starred in a Walt Disney motion picture. Siberian tigers are one of the most endangered animals in the world today, with less than 500 remaining on the planet (over half of which are in captivity). |

A branch of ecology pertaining to the study of inland waters – ponds, lakes, and streams. Limnology is concerned with all the interrelated factors that influence the inland water environment. Thus, it treats not only biology but also chemistry, geography, weather, climate, and other similar factors or conditions. It is “pond probing” at its best. The group will enjoy “collecting” many different water, plant and animal specimens. Also, each will enjoy a boat excursion…life jackets will be provided. |

This class/program is only offered during the month of December. We provide the manger scene, wardrobe, animals, music, and some of the dialogue. Your group selects its peers to re-enact the birth of Jesus. It is an awesome program as the children and the animals are the performers. The audience is the rest of the class, and/or invited family members/guest, and/or invited church members. Cook-outs and “the old fashioned tree trimming and caroling” are available afterward. |
